Swag Code Alert!

Posted by on Apr 18, 2014 in Swag Bucks | 12 comments

Swag Code Alert for 4/18/14!

Swag Bucks has a new Swag Code out! Enter “BabyCarrots” (no quotes) before 4:00pm Pacific Time for 3 Swag Bucks!

Click here to sign up for Swagbucks and start earning FREE stuff!

What is Swag Bucks?

Swag Bucks is the easiest & most fun point earning program I’ve ever used – I have earned hundreds of dollars in Amazon gift cards (which have paid for MANY Christmas, birthday & anniversary gifts) and several hundred dollars worth of airline credit as well! And there are tons of prize options – gift cards to your favorite stores, merchandise & even Paypal CASH! Get signed up and start earning your FREE stuff!

What are Swag Codes?

Swag Codes are given out randomly (usually a couple times a day and definitely during special events like Extravaganzas). These are alphanumerical combos that when entered give you Swag Bucks! You can check for codes directly from the Swag Bucks toolbar (which I recommend downloading) or go to the bottom of Grays Harbor Deals and you’ll see a Swidget (shown below). Just click the “SC” and you can check if there are any current Swag Codes available.

swagbucks- swidget

What to do with a code when you get it:

Once you find a code go to the Swag Bucks home page and click the small circle on the upper right hand side of the page (known on Swag Bucks as “Swag Code Safe Icon”). This will open up a box where you can enter your code to redeem for Swag Bucks.

Remember to enter the codes exactly how you find them or how they are described to enter (all caps, no spaces. all lowercase, etc) and don’t include the parentheses marks when you see them.

Local Events & Activites - Grays Harbor and Surrounding Areas

So so so so so much to do this weekend – how will you choose?

If you know of an event or activity happening in the area, please send me a message or leave a comment! I’d love to include it on my list!

Make sure to check out all the fun local Easter Events happening this week!

Here’s the scoop on what you can do in the area this week:

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 16th

Razor Clam Digs – Local Beaches
Wednesday, April 16th – Sunday, April 20th
Local Beaches
State shellfish managers today approved a series of morning razor-clam digs starting Monday, April 14, at Twin Harbors and expanding to include three other ocean beaches over the next week.  The Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (WDFW) approved the digs after marine toxin tests showed the clams are safe to eat. No digging will be allowed at any beach after noon.  Dan Ayres, WDFW coastal shellfish manager, reminds diggers that anyone age 15 or older must have an applicable 2014-15 fishing license to harvest razor clams on state beaches. Fishing licenses of various kinds are available on the department’s website at https://fishhunt.dfw.wa.gov and from license vendors around the state.  “It’s always a good idea to have a current license in hand before you reach the beach,” Ayres said. “Otherwise, you may find yourself waiting in line to buy one at low tide.”  Under state law, diggers can take 15 razor clams per day and are required to keep the first 15 they dig. Each digger’s clams must be kept in a separate container.  Ayres noted that the weekend digs will coincide with two beachside events. The second annual Long Beach Razor Clam Festival is scheduled April 19-20, (see http://longbeachrazorclamfestival.com/) and Washington Coast Cleanup Day is set for April 19 (see http://www.coastsavers.org/).  Once the next series of digs is over, state shellfish managers will analyze harvest data and propose additional digging dates in the weeks ahead, Ayres said.  “This year’s season is nearing the end, but we’re not there yet,” he said. “We hope to offer more digging days into May.”
The upcoming digs are scheduled on the following dates, beaches and low tides:

  • April 16, Wednesday, 8:03 a.m.; -0.6 feet; Twin Harbors, Long Beach
  • April 17, Thursday, 8:43 a.m.; -0.8 feet; Twin Harbors, Long Beach
  • April 18, Friday, 9:26 a.m.; -0.8 feet; Twin Harbors, Long Beach, Mocrocks
  • April 19, Saturday, 10:14 a.m.; -0.7 feet; Twin Harbors, Long Beach, Copalis, Mocrocks
