Catalinas are long “bonus” coupons that print out from a machine that sits on or near the register.  They are sometimes money off coupons for various products or are good for an amount off your next order.  Sometimes they are advertised and other times they are based on specific purchases made.  Purchases must be made in a single transaction in order to qualify for that particular Catalina.

When I did my shopping at Safeway last night I got an “informational Catalina” letting me know about an upcoming deal:

Get a $10 off coupon when you buy $25 of participating P&G products in a single transaction.  Valid 2/17/10 – 3/2/10 with club card.  (So wait another day to shop for this one!)  Limit one per transaction.  Coupon valid on your next shopping trip.

A $10 Catalina is HUGE!  And the $25 should be BEFORE coupons, at least it has been in the past.  This will pair nicely with the $15 Olay rebate (if Olay is a included product) as well as the opportunity to get $100 in P&G coupons.
