I love Rite Aid Single Check Rebates (SCR). With SCR, you can often get items for free or even MAKE money on your purchases!
How to get started?
First you will need to get registered for an account. This gets you set up with a username and password to submit your rebates as well as enters your address, so your rebates are sent to the right place. Get signed up HERE.
How do Single Check Rebates work?
Each month Rite Aid puts out a list of items that have a single check rebate associated with it. Sometimes the rebate is good for only one specific week, other times it is good for the entire month. Most of the time, you can only do one rebate per item, per household. But once in awhile they will offer multiple rebates on the same item, or rebates on the same items, but different sizes for different rebate amounts. Following the ads is the best way to know what items are giving you the best sale price with the SCR.

The downside to single check rebates is that you can only request them ONE TIME for the entire month- so you don’t want to request it until the end of the month. This means the money has to come out of pocket, until your check arrives for the single check rebates. You can request a check at the end of the month. It usually arrives within 2-3 weeks of requesting. The check looks like this:

There is no paperwork to submit with single check rebates. They are submitted online with information from your receipt. The process is very easy. I find it is best to submit my receipts the same day I shop, that way I don’t lose a receipt or forget to enter one for a SCR. You can also submit for SCR from online purchases.

How do I make money from a SCR?
You can pair a coupon with a single check rebate which turns it into a moneymaker! For example: Contac Cold & Flu medicine is on sale this week for $4.99, with the ability to get a $4.99 SCR. That makes it free after SCR. But you can also combine a $2.00 printable coupon with your purchase, making it only $2.99 out of pocket, but you will still get the full $4.99 SCR. You just MADE $2.00 buying that product!
